Better yet, try using it to learn it: VoiceThread on my blog, Tech Learning
This link will provide a multimedia demonstration using VoiceThread.
This is a very new idea to me, but already my mind is swimming about what we can do with it as educators. Pay close attention to the first link. In the first paragraph of the blog, Dr. Yuen provides a link to sign up for free educator accounts to VoiceThread. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks and more later - Jon

Hi Jon,
This is the first time for me to know "Voice Thread". Through reading your introduction and the materials, I learnt that with "Voice Thread", people can share their stories and idea in text/audio/video, and also, readers can responce in those same ways.
Interesting. Good job, Jon!
Jon,
This is the first time I have heard of "Voice Thread". The link you provided really helped me to understand how it can be used, especially in an educational setting. It is an excellent tool that can incorporates many of the multiple intelligences when designing a story. The threads can add video, telephoning, &text. The best feature of this tool is that it is free to K-12 educators! I hope you are able to impliment this technology effectivley into your instruction. Let me know how it goes. Great work!

Jon, I like the question you raised on "we can do with it as educators". Look forward to hearing more about your thoughts. Jing
Thanks for the comments! I wasn't sure how to respond to each comment individually, so I thought I was just type in what I was thinking as I read each comment....
This is certainly a learning experience for me. I like the multi-faceted communication approach as Yan responded to as well as a closely related multiple intelligences approach as Ashley noted... so I am in the process of experimenting with it as Jing pointed out. I am going to post my next thread presently... Thanks again.
